Hrm. I don't think I'm running anything odd; just things like emacs,
xterms, window manager, vt, zwgc, netscape, and so forth. athyra is
running squid, but that is consuming a minimal amount of memory and
processor cycles. I have a few remote users, but their presence or
absence also doesn't seem to affect hosedness appreciably.

Perhaps someone else could try using athyra locally and see if they
notice anything? Similarly, I could try logging in on other O2s more
often if possible...

Ah, okay. I'll be sure to do that.

Oh, yes. Has anyone else noticed O2s' clocks being consistently slow?
athyra's is consistently set ahead by AFS multiple times a day. (This
should be less of an issue when xntpd is deployed with 8.2 but...)
