Coming into the SIPB office today, I found oliver showing a blank
console window, except for a few ^Cs and ^Ds and returns that people
had typed into it. I don't know how it got into that state, but it
shouldn't have. I rebooted the machine and it was okay.
(I don't expect anyone to be able to track this down, but I'm sending
it off so that people know that it can happen, somehow...)
