afsd not replaced?

I just took 8.1.9 on my sun. it is my understanding that afsd was
supposed to be upgraded as part of this release. yet, I find:
the-other-woman# ls -l {,/srvd,/os}/etc/afsd
/os/etc/afsd: No such file or directory

Was it something other than afsd that was supposed to be replaced?
