The problem turned out to be that the sources for pdpr on paris/minos
were out of date. The Makefile's were correct, but the lpr compatibility
option was never transferred to paris/minos.
I imagine we will need to update the palladium sources on paris/minos
this weekend or early next week to make sure they are up to date.
encript and any other program that uses lpr should work correctly now.
