Athena patch release 8.0.4 just went out in the dev cell for both
platforms. I expect this to be the final patch release for beta, and
the basis for early test, which begins next Tuesday. Changes from
this point on will take place more slowly.

The changes in this patch release are:

	* (Sun) An orphaned piece of code was reinstated in the athena
startup file to prevent warnings about floppy drives for MAE
	  on public machines.

	* (SGI) When a user selects "Unix shell" from the SGI menu,
they get an xterm intead of a winterm, as they did in 8.0.

	* A bug was fixed in dsgrep to make output ordering correct
when output is piped to a file.

	* A bug was fixed in finger to make it report the correct
	  login time.

	* A bug was fixed in attach which caused it to seg fault when
given a nonexistent locker name. (The bug was introduced in
	  8.1.3.)

	* bogusmsg.ps was moved from /usr/athena/lib/ps to
	  /usr/athena/lib/lpdfilters for ops printer administration.

	* A version of pscomm called "hpcomm", with corresponding
	  symlinks, was installed in /usr/athena/lib/lpdfilters.
hpcomm is compiled to work with HP printers over the net
instead of a printer on a serial line.

	* Some small bugs in zhm were fixed which, added together,
could make zhm stop working when it lost contact with a
	  server.

	* The sis script was changed to run WebSIS instead of
displaying a message about sis going away.

	* The update_server man page was reinstated.

	* /etc/athena/clean_tmp_areas was fixed to remove directories
in post-order fashion (using the find "-depth") flag so
large empty directory trees get removed in one pass.

	* Code was introduced into the athena startup file to start
the zephyr server if the ZSERVER rc.conf variable is set.
