athanatos still won't update

At greg's suggestion I tried to update athanatos again. The bug
fix didn't quite solve the problem, but it helped a little bit.
Now I get the welcome to athena screen and can type my username and
password. However, that's as far as I get. A message comes up
that says the workstation didn't activate successfully and I should call
hotline.
