This actually did fix the problem for both meetings (one public, one
private). I wasn't able to get to the fellows (private) meeting, but
when I had changed the acl as per the earlier suggestion (add "mail" as
well as "daemon"), it chown'ed from discuss to root. Chown'ing back (as
per bdrosen's suggestion) fixed the private meeting problem.
