Hi, Athena testers,
I have a minor Athena 8.0F bug report. I been working on it since
Saturday, on a Sparcstation 5, IP address 18.51.1.98:
athena% uname -a
SunOS tombo 5.4 Generic_101945-37 sun4m sparc
The problem is that certain man pages are not available, specifically:
athena% man X
No manual entry for X.
One suspects that this is a result of the 8.0F athena_manpath setting,
but an identical setting on 7.7Y (sparc 5, tora, 18.51.0.48) gets me
the X page:
athena% echo $athena_manpath
/usr/athena/man:/usr/openwin/man:/usr/man
This happens even when I log in WITHOUT user customizations.
Naturally, some other man pages ARE available. Thanks for reading
