I'm not sure if this is related to the new release, but I just tried running
xrdb -load
to add some X resources, and
(1) the process hung and needed to be killed
(2) all my X resource settings went away (I guess because the -load
option kills the old file before reloading the new one)
I've never had a problem with this before, which makes me think it might be
the new release.
