yandros, wdc, and marc report the error message:

 Can't open/find configuration file while calling krb5_get_in_tkt_with_password

on non-updated workstations sitting on new packs.

This error message will be suppressed as soon as I vos release
tonight, and kinit will return a zero exit status for Kerberos 5
errors so as not to affect existing software (such as renew). No
workstation software update is provided or required for this
particular fix.

Judgements on the appropriateness of this fix should be made only
after reading the following paragraphs.

---

In relation to thinking about the Kerberos 5 functionality being
provided: our intent for now is to provide a bit of convenience for
developers to get started with K5; our intent is not to provide a K5
implementation fully integrated with Athena at this time, and it is
not to provide an environment where all the users can rely on running
K5 clients. [This is likely an issue for the summer release, however.]

Therefore, most of what we have here is some form of hack or other
just to allow people to get K5 tickets without any extra
authentication steps, and automatically get rid of the tickets when
they log out. It is not really a user-level concern for the most part,
so if it works in most cases that is what we're concerned with.

Any bugs adversely affecting V4 operation are of course a bad thing.
