While running 7.7 on pesto, we discovered that the users pag is now being set
by default. This is relevant because the dialups are running a 'hacked'
rkinitd (parkinitd) that when people rkinit, adds them to /etc/passwd &
attaches their homedir (with authentication). The user can then do a
kerberized rlogin to that machine and be logged in completely normally. The
problem is that since the pag is being set when the user logs, they do not
inherit their prior authentication.
Running the (modified by Bruce) login.krb 'fixes' the problem, which leads me
to believe that a setpag call was introduced to login.krb on the Decstatsons.
My understanding was that the setpag was only going added for the the suns ?
Was there a reson this changed ?
