afs software symlinks missing under Solaris

On the DECstation:

entropy  1:20pm 35> ls -l /bin/athena/vos
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root           47 Jun 20 13:55 /bin/athena/vos -> /afs/athena.mit.edu/system/afsuser/@sys/bin/vos

Isn't this supposed to be the case for all platforms?
