What were you trying to do?
take 7.7C on my sun
What's wrong:
It blew away ALL of the configurations I had (including /var/server)
What should have happened:
not that

Here is the problem. The version specific updated replaces
the srvd with one off the packs, then the update sees the new rc.conf
which says the machine is public, and promptly unconfigures the
machine.
(don't worry about the partial update, I have mkserv ^Z'd in another
window.)
