DISPLAY etc.

I'm on a DECstation 5000/25 running 7.7A and I use /usr/ucb/rlogin to login as
"docsourc" on the same machine (slingshot) as I am currently logged into (from
"press any key...") as "kcunning". Here's the command I enter:

  athena% access on; xterm -geometry 80x40+0+15 -n docsourc@`hostname`
		-e /usr/ucb/rlogin `hostname` -l docsourc &
				(all on one line)

An xterm comes up. I enter my password. I am asked:

What DISPLAY are you using [default: none]?

I enter "slingshot".

Up to here, it's just the same as in previous releases. But now, instead
of proceeding with my login and recognizing slingshot as my display, it
acts as if I don't have access to the display and gives me a tty-style session:

  Setting DISPLAY to slingshot:0
  Running standard startup activities ...
Xlib: connection to "slingshot:0.0" refused by server
Xlib: Client is not authorized to connect to Server
zwgc: Unable to open X display -- disabling X driver.
zwgc: To receive Zephyrgrams, (type `/usr/athena/bin/zwgc -ttymode').

Maybe something got lost when I took the update? or maybe something works
differently about the use of the DISPLAY variable? (I'm sure it's something
terribly easy...) Docsourc *is* listed in /etc/passwd, by the way.

Any suggestions?
