* The backspace key did not work for me in emacs on the RS/6000 bombardier.
* On the same machine I got this error in my console window when I started up

( I do not know if this is because of my customizations or because of a bug, but
I have never had this problem before )
* Also, I had changed my .cshrc file as suggested by SIPB so that I could use
their version of tcsh. I added these lines to my .cshrc:
if (! $?hosttype) then
set hosttype = $HOSTTYPE
endif
When I telnetted to mint.mit.edu, this is the message I got:
