The bug is in lisp/term/x-win.el
The -title is a local modification made at MIT for backwards compatibility...
Look at the old 18.57 emacs sources at the rcs history on that
file and you will see that it was added with a whole other set of items, like:
-foregroud, -rv, -ms, -display, etc...
