first off, is it impossible to dump emacs on suns? the current way
emacs starts up, loading all the lisp files each time, is admittedly not all
that slow, but it does seem strange that it's necessary. Emacs19 from
the emacs19 locker doesn't load the lisp files each time...
i've also noticed some weirdness with typeahead on suns. (By
typeahead, i mean typing commands into the shell while a command that
doesn't take input, like `make', is running.) On most platforms, i can
type several commands while `make' is running and expect them to be
performed once the make is over. However, suns throw away everything
after the first Return pressed. Should i learn to live with it or is
there something i can do to change this?
