sekullbe tried to log out of this sun, and nothing happened. Here's a
full list of all the processes he's running (standard dotfiles):

there's no session gate. Here's a few more proc entries:

Those are the *only* children of dm. Note that there is no xlogin
running. when xlogin dies, dm should reset the X server. It's not.
Possible evidence: I also noticed that there were a few defunct children
of zwgc, which were presumable zmailnotify's which zwgc didn't clean up
after. Since I know this isn't a "normal" failure mode, we have two
processes not handling SIGCHLD. Don't know if I can replicate this at all.
