Hi Ezra,
Thank you for your info about emacs on RS/6000. I just want
to clear up one thing.
When I had problem, I was not using the "comp" to send
email. I was just editing a fortran file called by
emacs filename.f &
and the sudden disappearance of emacs occurs when I use
the left mouse botton to try to position the cursor to
the beginning of the line but hit the edge of emacs instead.
1 time out of 10 since the new release, emacs would just
disappear but the xterm window has no idea that it excited and
just sais connection error. Sometimes there is no error either.
I have no problem calling it back up again and work just
goes on except for potential lost of work if work is not
saved.
I really don't think that this had happened to me before in
the old release 7.4 but that could be just because it didn't
happen.
