Is it possible that termcap changed?
It used to be that I could telnet in, set my terminal to vt100,
xresize, and run vui and get correct output on my screen.
There was the occasional time when the tty menus etc would show up in the
wrong place, but logging out, and back in (sometimes after resetting my
terminal
emulator) would solve the problem.
Now, that flakiness shows up EVERY time I try to use vui from home.
This is very bad, since that's the mailer I use.
Could it be that telnet changed, and that some subtle tty negotiation is
no longer happening?
