-- yes, the machine has been panicing frequently of late (within 2 hours
of heavy use -- 2 users doing development).
-- no, I don't have any coredumps (the plx prevented the dump due to
terminal mode -- see Kubi's report on that)
-- yes, Kubi has the pc (always the same) buried in some obscure and
apparently inoffensive segment of the kernel
these panics have been noticed by operations (dkk and invent), I had
not formally reported them because a report saying "my machine panics
under heavy use" does little good. Kubi and I were trying to get some
more information.
