If I type ^V^I on a 7.4 RS/6000 running tcsh, the cursor does not move and
no tab is printed, but when I type another character the tab and the next
character are displayed at the same time.
"echo $version" says
tcsh 6.00.03 (Cornell) 10/20/91 options 8b,nls,dl,dir
This also happens with the version in /afs/sipb.mit.edu/project/tcsh,
version "tcsh 6.02.00 (Cornell) 92/05/15 options 8b,dl".
