Hi! I'm not quite sure how to describe this, and I cannot reproduce it
at will.

Yesterday, on a 7.4 decstation, I was reading an OLC question (with
"olcr r" in an xterm), and a line that had been on my screen
previously (not olc-related) kept appearing in the message. I typed
"reset", and the problem went away.

Today, I was looking at some transactions in a discuss meeting. (using
the plain tty discuss). I looked at one, then looked at the next one,
but it had lines from the first one in it. Then I did "p 15138" again,
and this time I saw:

since I don't have to "doswrite" all the time.

Thank you very much

I know that the transaction doesn't really look like that, and even if
the text had been messed up by problems the user was having, the
--[15138]-- and stuff wouldn't have appeared twice.

I don't think I was doing anything unusual either time though, and I
can't make it happen at will. "reset" seems to fix things, though; I
just did "reset" now and looked at the transaction, and it really
looks like:

I don't know if you'll be able to track this down or anything, but let
me know if you need any more info.
