Sendmail is running on the rs6000. Sendmail should not be running by
default on any machine we deploy.
rc.athena should be referencable in /etc so one may easily discover
where and how programs are started. There is no reason beyond simple
aesthetics to mess with the location of these files.
My understanding from the filesystem reorg meetings was that we were
going to put imake config files for use by developers in
/usr/athena/config. I don't see this on the pmax or the rios.
On the rios, the vendors version of snmpd should be running until
our's can be successfully ported. It is a mostly functional
implementation of mib I. I can provide information on how to this
since it, like everything else on the beast, is fairly contorted.
