This bothers me as well, as well as the annoying key-click; could we perhaps
made the appropriate change to the ODM so that the default repeat rate is
faster and the click is off on public RS/6000s? The invocations would be:
chdev -l siokb0 -a click=0 -P
chdev -l siokb0 -a typmatic_rate=30 -P
