I'm sorry, but your report failed to indicate the platform for which the
problem occurred. I have checked on a vax, rt, and decmips and found the
two variables to be correct. Is it possible that you are running the wrong
version of emacs (say from the emacsdev locker) or do not have the
directories /usr/athena/bin and /usr/athena/etc on your machine? If
you can be more exact, perhaps we can determine if there really is a problem.
From what I can see, there is no problem.
