No, I'm sure they were spaces. Is that any excuse to dump core?
It's not an excuse for it to dump core, however, it is an old bug. I
believe a fix was once created, but it apparently never got sent back to
the Zephyr team, or it wasn't taken by them (we install their version of
syslogd).
