I'm running this on a 7.2C VS3100. I have no idea if the bug was in
7.1 or not.

The problem is that I can get the cursor to disappear while editing
text. For example:

1. Type enough text in a paragraph so that at least one line has
auto-wrapped.
2. Go to the beginning of a line after an autowrap.
3. Go to the end of the first word on that line. (M-F)
4. Delete that word backwards. (M-delete)

The cursor will have disappeared. If you use C-F and C-B to go
forward and backward, you will discover that the cursor is in an
invisible place between the end of the previous line and the start of
this line, and that you can go in and out of this place. Deleting
either one of the spaces on either side of this place causes it to go
away.
