What were you trying to do?
Use X without my X server growing to obscene sizes.

What's wrong:
It grew to obscene sizes. I was logged in for about a day. I
was logged out by my X server when it decided to coredump
(presumably because it ran out of memory and did not choose to
deal gracefully, although the coredump was lost) after
reaching a size of almost 6 meg.

What should have happened:
The X server should not grow this large. I'm not asking it to
	do anything so complicated.

Please describe any relevant documentation references:
None. I run the standard X server out of the standard
	/etc/ttys and xdm configuration file.

  jik
