The new logout button is just as customizable as the original,
probably more so. Unfortunately, it doesn't understand the same
resource names as the original.
It may be possible to organize it to take some of the same resources
specifications, but the emulation could not be perfect.
Editorial comment:
It does take the most important customization however: skip_xlogout.
It would be trivial to document how to customize this logout button
in the same ways that the original is customized.
The other possibility of course is to put xlogout back into the release.
Keep in mind that xlogout takes something like 440K on a Vax, and this
logout button takes 230K (or is practically "free" for people running
dash anyway).
