My workstation crashed and rebooted, and savecore tried to save a core
image. It filled up /site.
Xdm then couldn't run -- it logged "I/O error" errors and neither
popped up an X server with an xlogin window nor gave me a login:
prompt on the console.
I had to log in over the network. I don't think this is a good thing.
