Currently, when AUTOUPDATE=false and PUBLIC=false, when a
workstation's version is out of date, a message is printed
during activation. Since users will typically not see
activation anymore before logging in, it is likely that a
private non-autoupdating workstation owner may not see the
version update messages anymore.
Is something going to be done to fix this problem?
