AFS lossage when tokens expire

on Toto, a VS3100 running 7.1E, my tokens expired generating 1 single
message to the console. I did a kinit, then attach to renew my
tokens, and started getting an endless stream of these to an exterm:
afs: Tokens for user of AFS id -1 for cell rel-eng.athena.mit.edu have expired
I tried unlog and a number of other things, and after about 15 minutes
it eventually stopped. Sorry, but I can't remember enough of what I
did to acurately describe the sequence of events. But at least some
variant of this bug still exists in this release.
