In trying to identify some problems I've been having on the pmax, I
made an "emacs" csh script that runs /usr/athena/emacs and then tells
me when it exits. Today I got no emacs window; I just got:
10:37 Segmentation violation
10:37 emacs exited.
A second attempt to start emacs seems to work fine. (My normal emacs
startup is "(emacs -f server-start &)", which sometimes has the
problem that the subprocess for server-start goes off in space.)
