I ran messages while logged in on a public workstation. Then I ran
cui on my workstation (where my home directory has a different pathname):
% cui
Could not rebuild subscription map ~/.MESSAGES/.SubscriptionMap (2, 13, 24)
Changing profile entry for /mit/jfc/.MESSAGES/andrew to ~/.MESSAGES/andrew
Changing profile entry for /mit/jfc/.MESSAGES/gnu to ~/.MESSAGES/gnu
Changing profile entry for /mit/jfc/.MESSAGES/mail to ~/.MESSAGES/mail
Both programs were run from tandrew. I think messages was using absolute
pathnames when it should have made them relative to $HOME.
