It appears to me that this is a moot point. It is obvious that when mar
reimplements xlogin, that he should provide a means of sending a notice
to the console process to remap itself. Regarding have another application
map the console window. That will work with the current setup. That was how
I was able to debug the "mwm walking console mode."
Remember that show_console was a quick hack implemented about a year ago along
with xlogout. Let's leave it to the designers to come up with a solution.
