Subject: Kerberos for Windows (KfW) 2.6.5 Release Announcement

Good Afternoon,

On behalf of the Kerberos for Windows Release Team, I am pleased to announce the release of Kerberos for Windows (KfW) 2.6.5. This latest release of Kerberos includes security and minor bug fixes and a completely revamped MIT customized installer. We encourage all users to upgrade to this latest version of KfW. 

Notable Features of KfW 2.6.5: 
------------------------------
-Correct incompatibility between Kerberos 5 MSLSA krb5_ccache and Windows 
2000 (introduced in 2.6.4)
-Kerberos 5 library updated to release 1.3.5.
-A new MSI based installation option for organizations which need to distribute KFW via group policy has been added.

Known Issues:
-------------
There are no known issues for this version of KfW.

You can download KfW 2.6.5 from the MIT IS&T Windows Software Site: https://web.mit.edu/software/win.html. Please note that you need a current personal certificate to download this software. If you do not have a current personal certificate, then you can obtain one from https://ca.mit.edu/.
