The Red Hat Network is a locally hosted update service that allows machines owned by MIT students, faculty, or staff and by the Institute itself to download the latest updates and patches for the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3.0 Operating System.

This release marks the first IS&T release for the Linux operating system and for the Red Hat Network.
