Good day!
The Dreamweaver Release Team would like to invite you to participate in
testing Dreamweaver 4. We are hoping for approximately 20 volunteers to
contribute and are looking for users of both Windows and Macintosh platforms.
Some issues to ponder prior to volunteering:
Available time for active evaluation:
We anticipate a 2-3 hour allotment for testing, however, you are not
expected to test every area of the software.
Evaluation to include:
- testing the installer process
- integration testing within the MIT environment
- testing the on-line help and features embedded within the application
If you agree to assist, we will provide the following:
- the installer via CD
- testing instructions (system requirements)
- test results reporting form
STANDARD DISCLAIMER:
While we would prefer that you conduct the test on a machine that will
receive regular use, the installer you will be testing is in beta and may
cause unexpected changes to your system. If you do use a production
machine, you should plan to make a back up before installing the software
and frequently during the testing process.
As an alternative, we offer the Integration Laboratory located in N42 for
testing. If you would prefer to use the lab, please contact me to make
arrangements.
If you are interested in assisting with the evaluation, please contact me
by Wednesday, June 13th, indicating which platform you are interested in
testing and a mailing address for CD distribution. We are sketching out
plans to initiate testing on Friday, June 15th and continuing for two weeks
ending on June 29th.
