Subject: You are invited to the Software Town Meeting - Friday, August 8th

Good Afternoon,
The Software Release Team will be hosting a Software Town Meeting this
coming Friday, August 8, from noon to 1:30 in the Marlar Lounge (37-252) to
hear from you what is most helpful in terms of software and software release.
Anyone from the MIT community is invited to join us. We will be providing
lunch, so please RSVP to me by this Thursday (August 7), no later than
NOON, so that we have enough for everyone.
If you have opinions about the software made available for the MIT
community or about the release process, we encourage you to attend this
meeting to share your opinions. If you are unable to attend the meeting,
you are welcome to send comments to swrt@mit.edu.
The format of the meetings will be lunch and a brief presentation by IS
about some of the things we have done regarding software followed by
breakout discussions in small groups focused on your needs and requests.
