I didn't originally include it, because I thought the syntax was valid for both. However, the lprng lprm man page says nothing about '-', so I added the conditional to avoid spurious syntax errors with LPRng's lprm. Does it in fact work with LPRng? (I couldn't conveniently find an lprng queue to test on).
