The fact that the functionality in the first paragraph goes by username but the 3rd paragraph does by gid is slightly confusing, but *shrug*.

This change also means that local users who were manually added to nss-nonlocal-users will also be interpreted as having a mail domain of "mit.edu" when they send mail.  Which is almost certainly correct, but worth noting.
