Greetings:

MIT is very pleased to announce the availability of a free Windows
SSH (Secure Shell) client.

The client can be downloaded via:

http://mit.edu/ssh/FiSSH

We would like to express our gratitude to the developers at
massconfusion.com, who have generously given their product to MIT so
that it can reach a wider audience. Their patience during this long
process is appreciated.

It is our hope that the Internet community will improve and extend
this product, and return their work to MIT for inclusion in the
official release. Developers interested in working on improvements
to this client are encouraged to send mail to ssh-request@mit.edu.

While distribution is currently limited to North American sites, we
hope to have approval soon to do a wider distribution under the
revised US export regulations.

Thanks to all who helped!

-Bob
