MIT Campus Police provides a service to tag and register laptop computers a=
nd electronic devices. This loss prevention measure is a visible deterrent =
to theft. Take a look at this video<http://web.mit.edu/cp/www/_docs/theft_d=

Once applied it takes 24 hours for the adhesive to cure, then it takes up t=
o 800 pounds of pressure to remove the tag. If removed, it leaves a tattoo =
stating Stolen Property.
The next laptop tagging event is this Wednesday at the E17 Learning Center,=
11:30 - 1:00.
