David Broderick was kind enough to provide us with some
"heads up" type of events that are of interest to those of
you who are running Windows machines.
A.) Some CD burning software will turn off NetShield on
Windows 2000 machines. Known packages are Ahead
Nero CD and Roxio Easy CD. We are unaware if this
affects other versions of Windows in the same manner.
B.) It might be necessary to reinstall Kerberos after
installing IE service pack 1. There is a possibility that
it overwrites the current kerb16.exe affecting Eudora.
C.) Some Windows 4.0 security updates will cause some
computers to be unable to print to some Lexmark printers.
This web page explains the problem and gives the link to the resolution.
