Ops removed the testing flag from the alpha clusterinfo last night. As of right now, cheshire-cat, breakout, galaga and jdreed-vmware-4 successfully ran the new auto-upgrade last night and are now running natty. gorf (in the W92 test cluster) did not upgrade, but it also hasn't taken an update since April 4...
So as far as the upgrade functionality and installer, I think we're in a good spot right now. I'd therefore like to suggest that any future changes to the natty stage 2 installer now need to go through the workflow process (that is, get 2 ACKs before being pushed out).
I'm going off the grid shortly, but please test packages now in -dev and -proposed. (Proposed machines include w20-575-1 through -7). My goal is to have -dev cleaned out by Tuesday AM, so we can announce the beta, and firm-up the release date (as of now, barring anything else exploding, I'm aiming for early on 8/1 and public on 8/8).
