Hi,
There was a bit of zephyr discussion on -c sipb last night about wanting
to upgrade one of the Athena 9 dorm cluster machines in Ashdown to
debathena-cluster. Do we have a schedule for upgrading the various dorm
machines around campus? Is it generally okay to go ahead and reinstall
them?
Somewhat more urgently, should we be trying to upgrade Simmons' and Next's
clusters (15 and 6 machines, respectively) so that RSI/MITES and
Interphase students don't have a different version of Athena between their
dorms and their usual cluster?
This is perhaps made more complicated by both dorms having kerberized
printers. Then again, I think nextexec decided last year that we would all
but turn off our printer while Interphase was here...
