The attempt at the xconsole window for tcsh users (which was only in
proposed, at least) makes it impossible for them to log in. I committed
and uploaded r23849, but in testing with an intentionally broken
.environment, it doesn't save you and you get the usual dialog that
attempts to show .xsession-errors without bits.
The "Ignore my customizations" session doesn't save you, either, which is
kind of poor.
On my account, which is bash, I can't log in because of some PulseAudio
bug that makes it hang forever in /usr/bin/pulseaudio --start. See the
logs of -c debathena -i opus from last night. Other accounts can log in.
Blowing away my ~/.pulse* doesn't help; I'm not sure what state I may have
acquired on my account, but it's potentially relevant that I logged into
my laptop (also cluster Jaunty), which has a very different sound card
configuration, and AFAIK all other accounts that have logged in to cluster
Jaunty have only logged into opus.
Are we meeting this Tuesday?
