Thanks- I more or less realized that, but not all the details you followed up
with for making it work right- they're very helpful. This application has been
a major pain, for this and additional reasons I didn't mention. Unfortunately
it's the only decent VRML2 viewer I've found that works on both Sun and Linux
boxes, after a great deal of searching and testing.
