I'm hoping that Bogdan can shed more light on the situation tomorrow.
I plan to get a good night's sleep, and then review the documentation of
the chip myself to make sure I have not missed anything with this latest
set of changes.
Side note: There are a couple bits that are set to 1 on a virgin system
from Dell that are undocumented, for example 0x0013, we set to 0x0184
because that how Dell shipped it. the "4" bit is undocumented.
So too location 0x0015 we set to 0x0005. The "1" bit is undocumented.
:-( I know I should be the last one on earth to trust Dell, but
as the sage Buckaroo Bonzai once said, "Don't tug on that! You don't know
what it might be connected to."
Night all!
